ALAYA Europe
ALAYA Europe was established in the city of Dusseldorf, Germany, in 2005. Germany plays an extremely important role in the European economy, and more than 400 Japanese companies have set up operations in and around Dusseldorf. ALAYA Europe has earned a strong reputation for providing both European and Japanese companies with all-around language communication support.
In recent years, ALAYA Europe has expanded the scope of its support to include translations of diverse types of documents; introducing interpreters handling Japanese, German, and English; support for trade fair exhibitions; and one-stop services covering everything from translation to printed document delivery.
ALAYA Group
With Tokyo-based ALAYA INC. as its head office, the ALAYA Group also has operations in Japan in the cities of Osaka and Sapporo as well as overseas operations in Germany (Dusseldorf), and China (Dalian and Xiamen). Altogether, group employees number 137. Each site in each country provides the same consistently high level of service.

ALAYA Sapporo
This is ALAYA's user interface localization center. For copy machines, cameras, and many other devices, users directly interact with user interfaces, which makes their impression a strong influence on the image that the product and company projects. ALAYA utilizes its unique knowhow to maximize product value through attractive user interfaces. As a testament to its consistently high level of quality, ALAYA has acquired information security management system (ISMS) qualifications under the ISO/IEC27001 international standards.

ALAYA: The Meaning of Our Name
The Himalaya Mountains. The word "Himalaya" is derived from the Sanskrit (an ancient Indian language) words hima (snow) and alaya (storehouse). Together, they mean "a storehouse for snow." "ALAYA" can also mean "to put in a storehouse," or to "accumulate memory."
